Miss Ava
Ava is a New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as recognized by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from SUNY New Paltz and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Stony Brook University. Ava is skilled in both the pediatric and adult population and has experience evaluating and treating clients across a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and private practice. She is PROMPT trained and is experienced in receptive and expressive language disorders, feeding and swallowing disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, myofunctional therapy, auditory processing disorder (APD), voice disorders, and cognitive communication disorder. Ava is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is committed to providing high-quality services to clients and families.
