Miss Lauren

Lauren attended State University of New York at Cortland to receive her Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders. She then moved to Virginia to complete her Master's degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at Hampton University. Lauren is licensed to practice by the New York Board of Education for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and by Virginia Board of Education for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Lauren has worked with diverse populations and disorders in various settings. Lauren has worked pediatrics up to geriatrics in the private practice setting, school setting and rehabilitation setting. Her experience includes treating expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation disorders, swallowing disorders, fluency, apraxia, sensory feeding therapy, neurological disorders, aphasia, auditory processing disorder, and individuals with autism. Lauren is PROMPT trained and has experience with Alternative Augmentative Communication devices.
